Description: In 1908 Bash Lomb, Zeiss and Saegmuller were combined into one entity under the name of Bausch & Lomb Optical Company. The corporate alliance was formalized between the 3 companies and the logo on the binoculars features three prisms, each with the initials of a participating entities: B-L, Z, and S.In 1915 Bausch & Lomb supplied optical equipment to Britain and Canada, both enemies of Germany. The Zeiss name disappeared, the logo becoming a single prism with “USA” in it. The company As found all original condition for restoration but plenty to work with. They have normal age-related wear, the inside has dust and such. When looking through the rear there appears to be a very small chip on the edge some were inside.
