Description: Rare Charming Marked English or American Majolica PeaPod Floral Pitcher. Charming marked antique majolica pitcher portraying peapods,flowers and greenery in bright vivid colors. This lovely piece, circa England or America 19th century is approx. 5 4/3" high. 4 1/2" wide . This charming piece is in very good antique condition, with some wear around the rim and body-see photos(it is over a 150years old). The pitcher is marked on the bottom, I'm afraid I don't recognize whose mark it is. There are screws for a lid that is missing This is one in a very large collection that was my mothers. My mothers favorite dealers were Brittania in Greys Market and Nicolaus Boston both of London. I have yet to find her file of Receipts-still looking.
