Rare vintage 1960 Barbie #3 / #4 Blond Ponytail Transitional Doll Beautiful

Description: Rare vintage 1960 #3 / #4 transitional Barbie doll. I purchased this girl from the original owner in the mid-90s and she has been in my personal collection since that time. She was professionally restored years ago by Melissa Windham, a well-known Barbie restoration expert. Her hair was restyled into a perfect ponytail and her makeup and nails were touched up to their original look. A bit of length appears to have been cut from her hair at some point, but her ponytail looks great. Her legs are chalky white (#3), while her face has a bit more color (#4). Face is slightly shiny with a creamy complexion. Torso feels fairly solid with some color un-eveness and a chalky appearance. Arms are pale, especially the lower part, but not as pale as the legs. She smells like crayons. Her body is solid with no loose limbs, chew marks, etc. Butt stamp says "Barbie". There are a couple of light marks or lines at her hips as shown in photos, but they appear to be surface only. Hips are nice and tight. She comes with original zebra swimsuit, black shoes and Barbie booklet from that year. I will also include a new stand (shown in photos) for display. I am selling most of my collection which mainly consists of vintage Barbie & friends from the 60s & early 70s. Lots of clothes, too.
