Double Eagle Beer was bottled by the Double Eagle Bottling Works in Cleveland Ohio between 1906 and 1956 was then sold to Schlitz. This crate held 1 dozen bottles of ginger beer, likely in stoneware bottles. It has metal strap hinges. It is stamped with the Double Eagle ginger beer logo. The condition of this crate is fair. There is rust on the metal. There is some splitting and breaking of the wood. This box would be an incredible decor piece especially if you are a fan of beer and advertising. Double Eagle survived prohibition by switching to a carbonated ginger beer. Size - 17"L x 11.25"W x 13"H If you need your item shipped with a particular carrier let me know.
