Realistic 42-2101a analog solid state phono preamplifier upgraded READ

Description: i sell these locally on other sales platforms in central wisconsin this 42-2101a unit shows signs of use, wear, nics, scratches and love on the outside, face plate lifted to fit bigger rca (top is output) and inside all electrolytic caps got replaced, i use nice silver hook up wire, good vpci cleaner protector and cardas silver solder on the entire upgrade.. i use choice quality caps and this unit has two nice mundorf caps. this is my basic upgrade i guarantee this unit will sound much better than 'other' basic upgrades available. enjoy. thank you Either of my updated realistic units are being reviewed and compared to much higher priced units and are blowing them away. I don't have much to compare it to, I was previously using a DJ Pre II pre-amp and I also tried the built in phono stage of the NAD amp which was reportedly not bad for a built in phono stage but I thought the DJ Pre II sounded better. The upgraded Realistic blows the DJ away, I can hear details that were not apparent with the DJ. I am really surprised at the improvement the Realistic made. Thanks again!
