Description: Up for sale is an Original Animation Cel Directed by Rankin/Bass Productions in connection with Videocraft International: for the Red Baron Cartoon. This series originally aired as a ABC Saturday Superstar Movie in 1972. This a two page hand painted animation cel. This cel is production used and not a Sericel. The top cel is stapled to the bottom and background. Smaller than a standard Animation Cel. Measurements are shown in the pictures. Cel may not be perfect - there may be blemishes or debris on it. The background shown is original to the Movie but maybe different than the scene shown. Small spot on background has wear and is white. In this scene they are flying in a customized plane. If you watch the Movie you will realize that the back ground is on a loop. The 2nd photo is a screenshot of the original scene in the Movie. I haven't seen any other production art come up for sale for this cartoon. Item is used and comes as shown from a smoke free home. All pictures are of actual item for sale. This has been part of my family's collection since the late 80's to early 90's. This Animation Cel was originally purchased from Darrow's Fun Antiques in Manhattan, New York. You can actually see footage of some of the Animation Cels they use to have in their store on the wall in a Youtube Video.
