Description: This scarce 1900s “White Indian" cedar 50 cigar box is in good condition. The interior embossed lithograph is in excellent condition. There is some banding missing. The lid has a warp. There are nearly complete tax and union stamps. The striking multicolored lithographic image on this box is a detailed image of a Native American in full white headdress and leather clothes standing atop a red pedestal advertising White Indian Cigars. The cigars were manufactured by Joseph Kirster, Manistee, MI in Factory 42, 4th District, MI.
