Description: Spode 2-5481 12 Salad Plates 7 5/8" England Regal Blue & TanThis is a set of 12 Salad plates made by Copeland Spode in England. The pattern is Spode's #2-5481. It has Spode's Regal on the back, which I believe is the shape. It features a cobalt rim with embossed gold and a tan scroll design border just below. The plates measure 7 5/8" across. The Rd#455224 dates the design to 1905. It was sold at Burley & Co. Chicago. 2 have the Spode's Regal mark, 6 have the Spode square mark, 4 have just Copeland and the RD# .Set is in good used condition with no chips, nicks or cracks. They have been used and have a few scratches on each. 2 look like they have been in a plate hanger and have pin point nicks to the rim edge but they are not too noticeable.
