Description: This Staffordshire Ware House is 4.9" tall. The roof is confetti looking. It is glazed and painted. The front door is red. Turn it over to see the word Staffordshire Ware with a knot beneath it, and ENGLAND beneath the knot. Inside the knot are the initials W and K. The know is pretzel shaped. The W K possibly stands for William Kent. The potter's initials are often in the knot. This house has been in my possession since the late 1970's or early 1980's. It was a gift from my mother who purchased it in England. If it is a William Kent piece it dates from the possible 1920/1930's period. I can not confirm the above, but hope what I am saying is helpful.
