Description: Stock Book Full Of 525+ Mint World Stamps - Collected Mostly In the 1960's/70's - Nice! Here is a Book of Mint Stamps that were Collected mostly during the Late 1960's to Early 1970's. We suspect the book was later handed down to a relative who also added to the book at a later time but less frequently. With this said, most of the Stamps featured in the book date earlier than 1970. A few examples from the early 1980's to Mid 1990's are also included and we suspect a new owner, likely a relative of the original owner, added to the book during this time period. All Stamps are Mint, Unused Examples without cancellation marks. About 25% to 30% show signs of hinging with the rest hing free so that about 70% are without hing marks. We assign an overall grade to the book itself as Very Good and this grade is only for the book and not for the stamps inside and all Stamps are in MINT Condition! The Stamps, to the most part were placed in the book Alphabetically. The book features slots to hold the stamps only on the right side(Front side of each page). The back side of each page does not have slots for stamps and this section was used to write notes about the stamps in pencil and all could be erased if so desired. The notes about the stamps list much the same information as we list below in our stamp description section. We are fairly certain that the Collection was started in the Mid 1960's and this is due to the fact that the Book itself is of the same types that were manufactured in the Mid to Late 1960's. The pages are held together with a plastic spiral along the seam section and parts of this plastic spiral is missing along the top & bottom sections leaving only the middle section still fully attached and this also gives us a hint as to it's true age of the 1960's. While we do not list each stamp individually, we do however list them in age groups and some individual examples when we feel it is best to do so. We list the Country, how many are included in each Country along with a time frame for each grouping seen. Extra notes are also included when we felt it should be given.
