Description: This is a very rare 1930's vintage USA GEIB Gabe tenor size ukulele case. If you know Gabe, you're a serious guitar fanatic.Founded in Chicago in 1899, this brand made cases mainly for Gibson in the early days.As far as I know, it went out of business in the 1960s.I think it's from the 1930s because of the chipboard, leather handle, and inner emblem.I remember that the handle was changed to plastic in the 1940s.This case won't fit a Kamaka tenor because the head will hit it, but it's probably about the size of a tenor ukulele.I don't think Gibson made any guitars or ukuleles this size. It's a chipboard case with a GAIB emblem on the inner accessory compartment. The condition is poor, and the lid side is quite damaged. This is a museum-quality item, so it's for advanced enthusiasts. This is your chance to get your hands on a special vintage case. You probably won't come across one like it again. You could repair it or put it on display.I've been dealing with string instruments for many years, but I've only come across Gabe three times in the past. Please refer to the photo for the size.* EMS or Yamato transport shipping to USA about 10days.
