Description: You are looking at a very rare TAG Heuer. This is the all black TAG Heuer 980.026 men's 1000 professional watch. This watch is a true survivor. I am a watch collector who owns over 500 Tag Heuer watches. I currently have quite a few for sale. It was simply time to clean out the closet. This is a men's size TAG watch with a case size of about 38mm (41mm crown included). The crystal is in fair condition with several scratches. The back casing is in good condition with several light wear scratches. The bracelet is the all black PVD coated stainless steel jubilee band. It is in good condition with light wear, scratches, and mild stretch. The clasp and surrounding area is in very good condition with light wear & scratches. The bezel is in very good condition with light scratches. The hands & hour markers look great. I would rate this true survivor as a solid 7 out of 10 in condition. The watch looks wonderful, compared to other 980.026 models you will find. A new crystal would make it look fantastic. The watch is all original and never sized. It will fit up to an 8.5 inch wrist. I do not have extra links. The bezel turns and clicks in the counter clockwise direction, as it should. This model has a quartz movement and it is 200 meters water resistant. I always recommend having seals tested before wearing in water as a precaution, but I would avoid water with a watch of this age. I do not guarantee water resistance in these older Heuer 1000 series.
