Description: Beatles- "YESTERDAY AND TODAY BUTCHER COVER MATCHBOOK" A Japanese record store issued this record-album-sized matchbook as a promotional gimmick around 1985. The flip-open front cover and the back were exact-size reproductions of the butcher cover album. Inside were 40 authentic removeable matches, complete with a striker. The upper inside cover featured a history of the albums' release and recall, the trunk cover photo, and the address and maps of the companies' two locations. Now very difficult to find. RARE!!!!! The cover has some light dings on corners. There is an indentation impression on Paul's head. There are some scratches to the image near John's face.
