Spine and hinges were repaired by library and have made the book sturdy for handling. Top page corners are lightly creased throughout the book. Noted 4 pages with check mark and small lines in margin. Not numerous enough or large enough to be a nuisance. Pages are in good condition and very readable. No marking within text. Cover has scuffs and edge and corner wear. Corners are bumped. Very serviceable book. Vol.3, 532 pages. Cover hinges are split. Front endpapers are detached. Binding is intact throughout text portion. Noted 2 pages with marginalia of straight lines. One page has a large "x" in the top corner. No other marking noted, other than by library. All pages are easily readable and are generally in good condition. Cover has edge and corner wear plus some shelf stains. Serviceable book, being mjndful of weak cover hinges. Books are 9.25 inches x 6 inches.
