Aram and a friend, Richard Houseman, had convinced Clark to obtain a great number of valuables on credit. He brought the goods to them, and they led him to a field where Aram murdered and buried Clark then split the goods with Houseman. The mystery surrounding his crime, which went unpunished for fourteen years, was kept alive through Bulwer-Lytton's novel, Eugene Aram. Book shown is the book you will receive.
