They do not know who or what to believe. * Drs. Levitan and Blocks years of experience in practice as an internist and endocrine and metabolism specialist, respectively, lends them credibility as authorities on this subject. * According to the Presidents Council on Fitness, Sports and Nutrition, Americans eat less than the recommended amounts of vegetables, fruits, whole grains, dairy products, and oils.
