Sending money to charities was a possibility, but I wanted to participate in the actual war effort. Then it dawned on me that I could sell Ukrainian Postage stamps on EBAY, purchased directly from the Ukrainian Postal Service. The funds received would go directly to the Government of Ukraine for use as they deemed most appropriate. I will maintain a separate spreadsheet for all the Ukrainian stamps I sell and assure you that all profit will go into purchasing additional stamps from the Ukrainian Postal Service. In the first few months, we have provided the Government of Ukraine with $9439.10 for their effort. I have recently added refrigerator magnets and coffee cups to my store. The Amber sheet is described as follows on the Ukrposhta web site: On December 15, 2021, the postage stamp "Amber (exhibit of the Amber Museum, Rivne)" was put into circulation. This stamp completes the series "Beauty and Greatness of Ukraine" launched in 2013 and dedicated to the sights of 24 regions of Ukraine. The stamp depicts the symbol of Rivne region - a piece of amber kept in the museum of the regional center. Opened in 2010 on the premises of the Rivne Amber Factory, the museum contains other valuable exhibits, including pieces of amber up to 40 million years old, stones with crystallized insects, jewelry, and the oldest amber product in Ukraine, a disk amulet dating back about 2,500 years.
