[JIS was introduced in 1948] Condition: NOS, unused. Heavy abrasions on the box, creases, loss. Tears and stains on paper insert. Abrasions on pencils, chips in paint, stained, soiled, loss of gilt, cracks in paint. Third from left is bowed, and with most enamel loss. Pre-JIS pencil sets are exceedingly rare.
