Description: Up for sale is a Vintage 1930s OAXACAN PLAZA Mexico Hand Colored Print by MGM and Pathe film artist JOHN CRAYTON GRIFFIS (1900-1952) Measures 15" by 14 3/4". Paper has foxing and is a bit brittle along the bottom edge. Not much is known about the artist but his 1952 obituary states "with a natural talent for art, he struck out for Hollywood and the movies. At one time he was the art director for Pathe and later was connected with MGM in a similar capacity." Buyer pays $20 shipping. Thanks!
