Description: An original vintage 1930's b&w photo postcard :Face has a white border with a photo of some Algerian men roasting a lamb over the fire. The back is divided with text in French.This is an uncirculated card printed in France (?), without markings apart from a lightly penciled price in the upper corner, and an inscription reading "Roast mutton in picknick fashion. This Mechoui they are talking about is a real treat". Probably the souvenir of a British tourist who never got around to posting it. The postcard measures 3.5"x 5.5" inches. Condition is Very Good - : There are no tears or pinholes. There are no stains but the top & right edges have some tape residue (see photo). The corners are lightly blunted. The card is flat without creases or bends. There is light surface soiling & age to paper. ....Take a look at the other items I have up for sale now for combined shipping deals...
