Description: Selling a large, ten-inch wide, five inch high British cake tin commemorating the Coronation of King George VI and his consort, Elizabeth in 1937. The circumference of the tin shows royal palaces including Buckingham, St. James and Windsor Castle in addition to Westminster Abbey and was made by Co-Operative Wholesale Society Limited. Please see all photos for best description.there are small dents in the side of the tin. Graphics on the lid are quite wonderful with smaller pictures of the crowning of George VI and procession in the Gold State Coach but there is also rubbing, slight rust and scratching evident as you might expect from a tin approximately 86 years-old.
