This is a hard-to-find 1940's piece of US entertainment. Earl Carroll (1893-1948) was a pioneer in the "supper club" concept. In 1922 he built the first Earl Carroll Theater in New York. In 1938, he opened another on Sunset Boulevard in Los Angeles. He was a theatrical producer, director, composer and songwriter. Any glare is from lighting.
