VINTAGE 1960s-1980s ASSORTED GOP VOTE REPUBLICAN PARTY PINBACK BUTTONS & PINS

Description: Offered here is a group of 12 DIFFERENT (no duplicates) G.O.P. / Republican election campaign items. None of these mention any specific candidates - just the Republican political party. There are assorted pinback buttons, tie tacks, label pins, a brooch and a key chain. Two of the pins say "pachyderm power," but they are different sizes. (The larger one is celluloid on tin, the smaller one is tin litho.) I think my favorite is the one that reads, "A Democrat shot J.R." - a reference to the 1980 "Dallas" TV series cliffhanger. The little gold colored brooch features an elephant in the state of Nebraska. The largest button reads, "I'M PROUD TO BE A NEBRASKA REPUBLICAN." One small tie tack has just the head of an elephant. Another has the head of an elephant with a pair of horseshoes. Finally there is a plastic elephant attached to a key chain - I'm not sure if this is a republican related item, (sometimes and elephant is just an elephant.) but it was in the collection of other items.
