Description: Vintage 1981 Garfield the Cat Armitron Clock Plush Glow In The Dark features & tested working. Dated 1978, 1981 Garfield, United Feature Syndicate, Inc., Dakin Inc. branding along with Armitron Quartz on the clock. Made in Germany for the clock, Hong Kong for the dial and on the plush Product of China. Overall clean condition on the plush and clock. Plastic eyes and vinyl teeth have the material for glow in the dark feature as shown. The clock also has some glow in the dark features on the hands for the time and dots at each hour although hard to capture a photo of this area with the areas so small for a glow. Please do not purchase if this is a concern for you. Clock requires one “AA” battery for the clock to work. Battery not included in the purchase. There are the slots on the interior and the plastic tips that are all intact and lock into place for the clock. (will not ship locked in place for ease of removal to insert battery). Remove clock from plush (battery compartment as shown in clean condition) insert required battery. Tested as shown and in working condition with the second hand moving/different positions as shown and keeps time.There are some light scuff marks on the clear plastic on the clock. Please do not purchase if any of this is a concern for you.What we have experienced with battery operated items, is to use brand new Duracell or Energizer batteries for optimal performance and what we used to test this item.
