Description: This listing is for an accessory aftermarket bumper/grille guard for 1942-1946 Ford cars made by the Van Auken Co. Would probably also fit 47-48 but you might have to use '46 front guards to mount it, since these are made to fit over the top of the original bumper guards and the '46 guards are a little different than the 47-48 style. I don't think this one was ever mounted or used, so it's technically NOS although I have no original box. Also notice one piece of hardware is missing, a little hold-down for the bottom. There's one there yet, so you'll have to make another one to match it to mount this. Otherwise it should be ready to use. Usually I can ship stuff out within a couple days, but once in a while the shop is busy and it'll take a bit longer.
