Description: Estate sale find! Everything in this house was from late 1800- beginning of the 1900. This chest/box looks very old. There have been dove-tail techniques used on the corners. I'm not sure what kind of wood is that - camphor? Rosewood? Or something else. Very detailed carvings. Small chip on the right of the lid. Some very small cracks on the wood from drying. They are not noticeable. Dimensions are 12"H x 12" W x 14,5" L.
