Features finely-cast bust figural caryatid brass mounts with a bronzed finish at the top of three legs with detailed brass paw/claw 'feet' on the bottoms. Another highlight is the stunning burled top. The top and sides are veneer, the rest appears to be solid cherry with a deep finish. The finish is original except for the top which was professionally refinished. An oval metal plaque is attached to the inscribed: "Baker Furniture" There is a black stencil underneath the top: "3 1965" (manufacture date?)
