It adjusts from 38" to 49" tall but it doesn't stay extended very well (maybe a small part missing you could get at a lamp shop) and there is rust on the base. The lamp should also be rewired since there are some cracks in the cord. These are small issues and I've priced it to sell with the lowest shipping cost I can get to make up for the flaws.
