Description: Here is a great Antique Bump Paper Fastener, needs no staples . The fastener is in great shape. Chrome is a nice on it. There’s a little little bit of surface corrosion on one of the emblems on one side but it’s quite amazing how shiny this thing is for being 110 years old. Nice bonus to have the box. Pretty ingenious invention it looks like it takes the little paper Chad and folds it underneath itself to attach papers together like staples pretty neat. If you look out online at the lacrosse historical Society, there’s a story about this tool about the guy who would benefit in 1909. His name was bump and he agreed to 50-50 with the guy who was going to manufacture form. The guy ended up trying to cheat him and he took him to court and he started the company and made quite a few of these things over the years. Three different models. It’s quite an interesting story .
