There is gold piping below the zipper, along the top edge of the patch pocket. Nice details. Can’t find much history on the company other than ads from the 30’s to 60’s; definitely a high end line, addresses in NY and LA, and perhaps a misprint: Elliott Frankcl, President of Lewis Purses. I adore frame bags, and this is one of my favorites. It makes my heart happy; however it needs a new home. I’ve gone grey (definitely a good thing), but the olives and browns that once embraced me now make me look sallow, so I need to find my inner pastel. I know. Ugh, but I’ll find a way around it, lol.
