Here is a well-used but very nice example of a BULOVA MARINESTAR dive-style watch model # 90S12 that dates to the early 1990s (possibly 1991).The watch has a relatively new battery (approx. three months) and is keepinggood time. I purchased the watch used and have worn it only a handful of times.I never used the bracelet that came with the watch. First, the bracelet appearsto fit up to about 7 ¼”, making it too small for me. Second, the clasp needssome attention: In its present state it seems to detach quite easily, so if youplan on using it, you’ll need to have the clasp looked at and likely get somenew spring bars for it. Third, I just wasn’t a big fan of the gold-braceletlook, so I purchased a third-party sailcloth pattern quick-release strap. The strapcomfortably fits a 7 ½” wrist (and could go a bit larger if needed). When it was new, the watch no doubt offered high-lume handsand markers. This is no longer the case. Even when subjected to bright light, the lume quickly fades. As you can see in the photos, it’s scratched, well-used, andworn. But it’s a beautiful example of a working vintage watch and most of allit has character! Disclaimer: Although the watch is nominally rated waterresistant to 660ft, this is a vintage watch and should be professionallyserviced before exposure to water. And even then, if you’re looking for a divewatch, you should be looking elsewhere! Thanks for looking!
