There is a repair to the lining on the right side that is in a contrasting color thread and is therefore visible. (Please see last photo.) I believe the jacket is from the 1988 Boarding School Collection. Structured jacket in an iconic hourglass shape in burgundy cotton denim fabric. Black faux fur collar, cuffs, and hemline. Quilted black lining. Front closure with 5 fabric covered buttons. 2 chest flap pockets with button closure. Drop shoulders. Made in Italy. Jacket should fit a modern size 6-8; it is quite fitted.
