Description: Vintage LIMOGES FRANCE Hand Painted Porcelain NAPOLEONIC Bee Cachepot Click images to enlarge Description VINTAGE MINIATURE CACHEPOT Striking and lovely vintage hand painted porcelain cachepot style vase measuring 2-1/2" tall by 2-1/3" wide. Featuring a pair of molded bracket handles, it is decorated with a Napoleonic Bee within Laurel crest on each side - heavily accented with gold trim as shown. Bearing the LIMOGES FRANCE mark and Hand Painted, believe it dates 1940s-1950s in era. Acquired recently from the estate of an avid Napoleon collector who purchased it in France. Condition is lovely with no chips, cracks, hairlines, crazing or damage - no gilding wear (white spots in the photos are a result of my flash) - only thing of note is a tiny dot of roughness on the top edge - this UNDERNEATH the paint, and the result of production, not damage.
