Description: In the early 1980s the Louis Vuitton company licensed the French luggage company in the United States to produce mostly small leather goods and other various travel items. This is a vintage Louis Vuitton checkbook cover that I purchased from Neiman Marcus in 1982. It has been sitting in a drawer for quite some time and has definitely been used, but the exterior canvas still is an excellent condition with wonderful vintage patina. It’s an intriguing piece for a collector or somebody who still uses a checkbook! Or you could use the exterior canvas to modify and turn into something special just for yourself at a great price. This is being sold as is so please note in the photographs the extensive wear to the inside cover fold where the leather has gotten very thin.
