Description: This vintage Native American handmade storyteller sterling silver and 14K gold storyteller cuff bracelet was gifted to a friend from a woman who owned a Native American gift store in the 1980's. It has never been worn to my knowledge and as such might be considered new, old stock. Storyteller jewelry depicts Dine (Navajo) traditional life; home or hogan, weaving, drumming, daily chores, horses, sheep, cooking, campfire, and/or scenery. Stories are told and passed down because the Dine traditionally did not have a written language. This art form is often done in an overlay style. The cuff is a size 6 1/4" including the 1" gap. It weighs approximately 42 grams and is 5/8" wide. Stamped sterling and hallmarked. Condition: There is some loss of oxidation and fine surface scratches seen under 10x magnification. The moon is gold colored, but the cuff is not identifed as to gold content. Overall, it is in excellent condition though as a vintage piece it is sold in "as is" condition. If you are not satisfied with your purchase, please contact me and allow me the opportunity to attempt to remedy the situation. Thank you for your interest. In memoriam Ms. Elizabeth.
