Description: This is a beautiful early piece of NYC and NY subway history. This amazing early cloth roll is approximately 18x23 inches, the perfect size for framing. It includes some very sought after and valuable destinations including CANAL STREET, BROAD STREET, CHAMBERS… as well as many other great stations around Queens and Manhattan. The condition is excellent with lots of character. Beautiful rich black tone with aged beige lettering. A very sought after sign. Please also note that this roll is double sided, identical on both sides. It is from the side of the subway car and could therefore be seen from both inside and outside. I will be listing MANY early NYC subway (both cloth and Mylar) and bus signs and rolls so take a look through my other items and check back periodically as I will be adding more on an ongoing basis.
