Description: Interesting Klumpe Doll from Spain. He is so fun and looks like he is enjoying his painting task. He is well dressed in a very artsy 1960's outfit that is made of different kinds of cloth, including felt. He is taking a strong, pleased gaze at his work of art. What looks like a rotund belly, is really a poked out stomach because of how arched backward his wooden spine is as he focuses on his painting. His hand painted eyebrows are arched and his paint brush wielded hand is poised upwards as if he is ready to strike at the piece again! He grasps his pallette with his left hand like a shield as if it may strike back if he miscalculates his brushes direction. We are left only to wonder what kind of masterpiece he yields.The artist is sturdy and strong. No stains or signs of discoloration. No tears and the seams are still strong. There is a little bit of loosening of the socks. But that is all. Wonderful companion for an artist. I'm, sure Roldan Klumpe had fun creating him.
