Vintage Toy Train Transformer: Lionel TrainMaster Type V, Very Rough, Parts Only

Description: Vintage Toy Train Transformer: Lionel “TrainMaster” Type V, Very Rough, Parts Only Vintage Lionel “TrainMaster” Type V transformer, 150 Watt, packaged in the original box, VERY ROUGH. Manufactured by The Lionel Corporation, New York Made in the U. S. of America. The transformer was damaged in shipment many years ago (1960’s). Parts are broken and parts are missing as can be seen in the photos. The most significant damage is to the steel base which has been broken off from its plastic (Bakelite?) mounting bosses on the bottom portion of the transformer housing and is slightly bent at the corners (rubber feet also missing). The control panel screws have been removed and lost. The red and green bulb covers are missing as are the bulbs. The control panel knobs appear to be intact. The eight terminal nuts are present on the rear of the transformer. The electrical power cord appears to be intact with the original plug. The remains of the transformer have NOT been tested for voltage output. The condition of the Lionel shipping box is rough with the cardboard discolored and brittle from age, and one corner split from top to bottom (see photos).
