Description: For sale is a vintage silk and wood fan. It is 11.5" long when closed, not including the metal hook at the end. When open it spans about 20". It has wood at either end and at the base of each slat. The fabric is silk, and is hand painted with flowers and butterflies. There is no indication of the age or source country of the fan. There is no name or ownership information either.The fan is in good condition, considering its apparent age. The only place where there is a problem, is that there are a few pinholes in the silk where it is exposed when folded. The silk itself is aged and discolored, and the slats that the silk is mounted upon are clearly visible. Please feel free to ask any additional questions.
