Description: This is a vintage French bayonet and numbers matching 8520 scabbard and 2" wide leather belt that were from my grandfather's collection.Please look at photos carefully for their condition as I will not accept returns on these items.Bayonet has an inscription on the top edge. d'Armes de SAINT ETIENNE JAMIER 1879.Also has a personalized inscription on the one side. Lieut of Wild Mountaineer Scouts Fiting Cole R.S. Walter.Locking/unlocking mechanism is in good working order. Belt is still very pliable and useable condition. Double hole belt buckle I believe is nickel. Has the loop for attaching the bayonet to the belt.Great military collector pieces. Please ask all questions before you purchase.
