Description: Beautiful and unique vintage 40's - 50's evening dress. Pale pink rayon taffeta. With stunning bodice featuring iridescent sequins, tiny silver glass beads, small pink glass beads in intricate floral design with pink netting. All beads are intact. The dress has a fitted waist, cap sleeves, vertical bust darts, underarm gussets, and a straight skirt.The back of the dress is fabulous! From the dropped Vee in the the back, there are long pleated inverted fabric vees on either side of the metal zipper, they almost act as a "train"! The zipper needs to be operated gently, not pulled quickly. It will most likely loosen up with gentle usage. This elegant, one of a kind vintage evening dress is in very good condition. There are 4 very small light spots on the right side on the train as shown in photos 9 & 10. 3 are inside the pleats and cannot be seen. (I have not attempted to clean the area). The final photo shows a 1/2" horizontal wear mark that does not go entirely through the fabric. It is located 11" up from bottom of hem and 7" in from left side seam. The dress has been carefully stored for at least 70 years! No "old" odor. I have listed many more vintage dresses, take a look!
