Description: Cool metal smudge pot with lid. This is missing the smudge stick/torch. It is marked Japan on the bottom and sits on three feet. Wonderful condition for vintage used piece. This could also be used as an incense burner. A smudge pot was used to keep kerosene in and the end of a smudge stick/torch soaked with it. The torch could then be ignited and used to start a fire with logs in a fireplace. Really cool vintage piece! The torch/wand is NOT included with this smudge pot.
