Description: Auction for vintage William Bros Inc #48-161 1/48 scale Pitcairn PCA-2 Autogiro model kit. Model has very nice directions with b/w photos. Decals for a USN Autogiro assigned the the USS Langley and the Champion Spark Plug, Miss Champion. Decals by scale-master should be considered vintage. Machine was developed in the 1930s. One was landed on the White House Lawn and another was flown by Amelia Earhart. Several of these machines were used by civilain entities such as Beech-Nut gum and The Detroit News.
