Description: A very nice example of a WW-II eraRoyal Naval'HMS Milford'EPNS Officer's Wardroom Napkin Ring A Shoreham Class Sloopbuilt at HM Dockyard in Devonport and launched in 1932,HMS Milfordwas refitted with updated anti-aircraft gunneryjust prior to the outbreak of WW-II in 1939. At the outbreak of the Second World Warshe joined the Africa Station (later called The South Atlantic Station)and was assigned to Escort Dutieson the South Africa-Gibraltar runs. She later joined 'Operation Menace'the unsuccessful attempt to take Dakar by landing Free French Forceswith Royal Naval help. Finally paid off at war's end in 1946, she was scrapped later that same year..!
