Description: Original WW2 US Army Officer's Service/Dress Coat made from 100% gabardine wool with a rayon lining. This is the early war pattern that has the bi-swing back and brass hooks for a Sam Browne Belt (not included), but it also comes with a wool waist belt with brass buckle. This coat is a size 40 Slim and is in excellent condition. The coat is unnamed but carries the US 5th Army shoulder patch and a US 3rd Army combat patch as well as three overseas service bars. The chest measures about 21 inches from arm pit to arm pit and the measurement from shoulder to lower edge of the coat is right at 32".
