WWII German Navy 1938 Kriegsmarine White Jumper Sailor Jacket Shirt Uniform Top

Description: Original WWII German Navy 1938 dated example of a Kriegsmarine white summer jumper. It has clear KM acceptance stamps from 1938, as well as the sailor's serial number stitched in red. It does have the original rank patch on the left sleeve. There are a number of stains from poor storage. I am not sure how well it might clean - I have made no attempt to launder it. It does have the small inside pocket at the neck opening and the original ties at the neck. It does not have the cuff or waist closure ties. All in all, it is a decent example, which would probably clean up well. It does NOT have the eagle on the chest. See photos for condition. MEASUREMENTS (approximate): Chest - 36" Waist - 33 1/2" Length - 29 1/2" Sleeve (shoulder seam to end of cuff, shoulder seam sits lower than on regular shirts) - 20" A note on vintage clothing: I am not the original owner of these items, therefore I cannot guarantee their history. I am a non-smoker myself, but can't say the garment has never been around cigarette smoke or in attics with moth balls.
