Description: WWII Japanese Type 30 Bayonet for Type 38 or 99 Arisaka Rifle - LB-148 Variation T- Very NICE Condition Up for sale is a WWII Era Japanese Type 30 Bayonet for the Type 38 and Type 99 Rifle. Approximate Blade length 15 9/16". The blade is marked with the Toyada Automatic Loom Works "TALW" Arsenal Markings. The serial number is on the end of the pommel. Blue unfullered Blade, two rivets in contoured wraparound wooden grips, rectangular pommel and Straight Crossguard. It has some evidence of sharpening. No nicks or chips in the blade. Average finish wear. Some minor surface pitting on the blade. The wooden grips are nice with the normal handling marks. The release button functions properly. The bayonet has no scabbard.
